During my travels I took some quick photographs of jazz musicians at a club in Barcelona Spain. When I returned to Richmond, I created this acrylic painting from my various sketching of the musicians. I used a lot of metallics in this creation because it made the piece come alive as if the musicians were one with their instruments. Blue and silver dominate this piece and make it lively.
