This piece is one of a set of two and was painted during several different zoom meetings over the past year. Though these people never sat in a meeting together, they are connected in the larger "zoom-verse" that has taken nearly all of us these days. The portraits are static and distracted, and hung together they emulate the distant nature that our conversations take as we look at the mosaic, head on view, of our co-workers, community partners, and friends. Where does the zoom meeting end, and "real" life begin? May be purchased as a set for $220.
